‘…brightly illuminated language and tender attentiveness to the world
(… and a great deal of humour).’
– Andrew Motion.

Mostly, it’s just me and the microphone. All sorts of poems. Most subjects. Traditional and contemporary forms portraying the heartfelt or flippant, passionate or witty, or  prodding at tyrants and hymning the ordinary and the good.

I welcome opportunities to collaborate with individuals, couples, families and celebrants of all persuasions and write poems to mark all rites of passage and celebration.

Workshops, classes and masterclasses for writing, developing performance voice, devising through theatre and for dance-movement. Classroom, studio or outdoor based.
